About Me

First and foremost, I am a mother.  I have three beautiful children: twin boys and a little girl.  I am lucky enough to be doing a job I get the most enjoyment out of - being a mother.  I have my hubby to thank for that.  He provides us with food and shelter so that our kids can have their mom with them.

I started blogging because - well, I needed to have an outlet!  I joke to my friends that it's better for me to blog than to shop online.  ;)  The latter becomes really expensive if I'm not careful!  Well, it's been only a month or so, but it's been fun. I blog just about everything.  I've so far had a few friends that really like what I'm posting  and have gone out of their ways to tell me - so a big THANK YOU to you guys!  *MUAH*

I was born in Taiwan; my family moved to the States when I was in elementary school.  I grew up with a heck of a good cook as a mom, so I learn all my cooking from her.  We were poor growing up, we didn't even have beds to sleep on, only foam mattresses.  Forget TV.  We didn't even own one until 2 years after settling in.  But my mom never failed to make amazing meals for us.  I always thought that every family eats like this, that everyone's mother is as amazing in the kitchen as my mom.  I never realized that making delicious food isn't as easy as she made it seem until I started cooking myself!  It really isn't easy!  Especially on a limited budget.  My mom rocks.

My "fashion" posts are seriously just me messing around with my wardrobe.  I don't work outside the home, so unless there are meetings at the school, I hardly have a need to dress up.  But what can I say, I'm a girly girl.  I love dressing up.  I used to get all dressed up to pick up my children from school.  The teachers would always ask, "Where are you going?  You look nice!"  And I'd reply, "Nowhere!"  LOL.  Well, at least now I get dressed up, then I get to take a picture and document it on my blog.  So instead of me shopping like crazy, I'm telling other people where to shop!

Well, I hope you're enjoying my blog.  It's seriously just a creative outlet for me to have fun.  As always, I need to go tend to my 3 munchkins.  See you at the next post!

Xoxo,
Lin
